An easy drinking Belgian-style ale, our Bridge Builder Blonde has a wheat flavored backbone from the malt, tempered with hints of clove, banana and pear. Should come in around 5.9% ABV. The name is an homage to the many immigrants who constructed the unique arched stone bridges all along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Bottled from VA. Poured a cloudy yellow orange. Candy sugar and a bit of wheat. OK. ...

$1.99 bottle from Whole Foods. Pours murky golden with a small, actually tiny, white head. Smells of cracker, cereal, yeast, only a hint of fruit. Flavor is definitely better than the aroma. Much fruitier, with banana and I almost want to say kiwi. Minor spice notes. Not bad.

Growler during RBWG. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is fruity malt, dough, clove. Medium mouth with doughy malt, strong Belgian yeast, light bitterness, good.

Total Wine, Fairfax twelve ounce: Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is bready with slight fruit. This does not seem like a belgian ale to me. Seemed more like an english blinde. Meh.

Draft at the source. Hazy yellow color. Aroma of straw and light spice. Taste has mixed spice and rising white bread dough, maybe subtle citrus. Decent.

Blonde golden coloured body with the slightest haze and a thin, one centimetre off-white head. Aroma of very light malt, some yeast and rice notes and a little floral hoppiness - not much though. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour with some subdued sweetness, a hint of cardboard and staleness and a little hop touch at the end. Aftertaste shows some nice sweetness from honey and fruit and very little else aside from the malt. Overall, a decent light beer with an okay profile, but no real complexity and depth. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Arrowine in Arlington, Virginia after a hockey game on 13-November-2013 - Thanks Kev!

Bottle from the last local swap - thanks! Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is grass, pepper, wheat, spices. Flavor is a bit odd, actually. Medium sweet, peppery, wheat. Medium body.
