The Monarch, eight point bull elk is the King of forest in the Tetons. Pilsners are the beers of Kings, originating in Plzen, Czech Republic. They are light colored lager beers whose flowery hop aroma is followed by a rich, malty sweetness ending with a firm bitterness. Mass produced American beers say they are of this style but have extremely lightened malt and hop characteristics. Our Monarch Pilsner is a traditional style European pilsner, brewed with 100% pilsner malt. Hopping with German lineage hops produces evident bitterness as well as a crisp finish. Monarch Pilsner is a signature beer of Cory Buenning.

Keg at the brewery taproom - Jackson. Pours clear yellow, lightly effervescent, with a small, creamy white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of crisp white bread, light bitter straw, a hint of biscuit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, lightly drying, more biscuits, white bread, straw. Basic but enjoyable.

Tap. Pours clear pale yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is super light, biscuit, nice hop, floral. Flavor is light sweet, very light Bitter. Light body. Not bad, could use a bit more bitterness.

Can shared by Travlr at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Thanks! I finally got to 51 "states!" Poured a fizzy yellow color with a small foamy white head. Aroma was light sweet malt, notes of light hops. Crisp lager notes. Flavor was a nice tasty pilsener.
