Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Aromatic sherbet hop aroma and flavour. I rather liked the sherbet hop. Moderate bitterness on the finish. Decent condition and temperature. I liked the hop.

Cask at Bull & Stirrup, Chester. Pours golden amber with minimal scummy off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is a pleasant blend of soft citrus, pine resin and mixed hops. In the mouth there is briefly a little sweetness before it rapidly become somewhat bitter. Flavour is floral hops, oranges and pine, with traces of spice and mango coming later. A slight spiciness in the finish too. This is decent.

Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2026, Beer#12. Solid enough clear golden ale with a dominant hoppiness, mix of fruits, I can just taste the pine as described in its beer notes, perhaps not without knowing. Its a slightly grittier hopped brew.

Half-pint, cask ale at The White Swan (JDW) in Islington. Clear warm golden body, covering off-white head that laced well. Inviting hop fruity smell, hints of citrus. Refreshing flavours of grapefruit and orange added by mid-sweet malts. Bittersweet fruity ending. Medium body. Good enough. (London, 02.03.2026).
