Growler from Milk and Hops, Chelsea. Unclear golden-orange color with a thin white head and some spotty streaks of lace on the glass. Aroma comes off a little much diacetyl. Makes it difficult for me to pick out the other components, but I got a little fruit, grass, and spice. Light sweet, with a clean medium bitterness. Taste is less flawed than the nose. Clean, medium body, light dry on the close. Drinks like a much less than 8.5℅ beer. Actually quite like the mouthfeel of this one, even if the aroma and flavor feel flawed. I might have to try this one again (maybe the canned version instead of the draft) to see if this is what it is usually like, because the other reviews seem much better.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Many thanks to Leighton. Hazy yellow - gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish malts, a little cream. Pine. Mild spice. Pineapple led tropical fruits. Mild bitterness from a little citric peel. Light finish. Nice.

Aroma is nice floral citrus lemon, pollen, air freshener, semi sweet Base malts. Flavour is composed of juicy peach, mango, citrus, apricot, white bready grains. Solid bitterness. Palate is medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

Can at Level 42, thanks to LKS, 27/07/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is tangerine, apricot, straw, spice, soft bread, melon, bitter orange. Taste comprises pine, bitter orange, straw, grapefruit, citric kissed straw. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced hop bitter finale. Decent enough DIPA.

Can shared in London. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Nice citrus aroma, melon, tangerine, papaya. Medium sweet flavour with pale crackers, more melon, lemon rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish with notes of white grape, more melon, citrus rind. Enjoyable stuff.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Aroma is rather fruity with a ton of pineapple juice. Soem light cracker malt note in the background. Some citrus notes with a touch of pine. Some light alcohol notes. Pours a hazy, slightly dull, golden orange with a medium sized, thick white head that recedes slowly to a thin film that lingers on the edges. Medium lacing and smallish legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with a moderate cracker malt backbone. Moderate pineapple and citrus notes with some lighter mango and stone fruit. Some light alcohol spice with moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a good DIPA. Alcohol is well hidden behind the hops, bitterness and light sweetness. Hops seem nice, but based on the aroma I can’t help but wonder if this has pineapple juice in it; either way, a nice beer.
