Dragon's Breath is a Dark Wheat Hefeweizen, otherwise known as a Dunkelweizen. It is mild in taste, unfiltered, and moderately hopped with Hallertauer Perle hops, cold fermented eliminating any harsh aftertaste. This award winning Bavarian classic was brought to America by our German Brewmaster Jurgen.

chocolatey, tons of banana, light bodied. Pleasant. Not a bad brew, but hardly going to seek out again.

On tap at Brewforia in Meridian, ID. Hazy murky light brown with a quick fleeting off white head. Sweet bready aroma with notes of apples and cinnimon. Malty sweet and woody. Slight bitterness in a tannin woody way. No hops and a slighty unfiltered feel. A light brew for a dark color. Just what people should try who say " I don’t like dark beers"

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours caramel amber with a 5-finger beige head. Aroma is simply dark roast wheat. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Flavor is dark roast wheat/malt with fruit. Not getting banana. It’s smooth and flavorful. Finishes malty, but not excessively sweet. Mild spice hints.

Tap at Bayern: A brown cloudy, swirling sea of particles. Thin beige head. Aroma is mild, just a faint maltiness. Tastes wheaty and crisp enough with some florals and a little yeast. Rather mild, but more florals than some wheat ales.
