Tap at gingerman trying to up white ipa rates for when it becomes a style. Clear gold pour. Nose is peppery and some citrus. Tastes light of peppercorn, pine, grapefruit and hay. Kinda watery palate. Ok

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a huge fluffy yellow-white head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was dryish, tart, bitter and citric. The flavor was bitter, dryish, tart, citric and chalky. Long finish of citrus and chalk. Medium body. Meh.

Thunder Burger, DC tp: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and tropical fruit. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Nothing too exciting. Pretty easy to drink and all.

Can, 5.9%. Weak grapefruity hop aroma. Hazy golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour has a little grapefruit to begin with, turning more indeterminably fruity. Medium to high bitterness. Clean finish. Reminds me of Pind White IPA, only less bitter.

Can from Bamsen. Hazy amber, small white froth. Peachy, piny aroma. Similar flavour, quite bitter with decent malt background. Slightly watery but still flavourful.

Can. Pours cloudy amber with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and malt, with notes of yeast and toyches of citrus. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of malt and yeast and citrus and grainy touches. Bitter and estery aftertaste with grassy notes. Well-balanced and very enjoyable.

Crisp light copper and bronzed coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bread, light spice, yeast, coriander seed and a good amount of fresh light grassy hops. Medium-bodied; Mild grassy and herbal hops up front with a nice fragrant coriander seed and curacao flavour right behind with bits of spice and yeast as well. Aftertaste is dry and airy with an almost saisony like flavour at first that shows a touch of white pepper, but is mostly grassy, herbal and showing some nice light sugars. Overall, a nice white IPA that is on the mild side, but also not on the super hoppy bandwagon - this is more balanced and showing more of a wit than an IPA - still nice throughout. I sampled this beer on draught, purchased in a growler at Whole Foods in Washington (P Street - Logan Circle), DC on 28-June-2015 for US$10,00/32 ounce fill sampled at home here in Washington a day later, still with great carbonation.
