(Keg at Punavuoren Ahven, 20170703) The beer poured deep amber and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A musty IPA but a rather nice amber ale.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-amber colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Fruity and slightly piney hoppy arom,a with notes of citrus, grapefruit and tangerines. Bitter and delicately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildlöy bready malt character with fruity and piney, resiny hops, inkluding some tropical spots; lasting bitter hoppy and mildly sweet finish with a well-embedded, almost deceptive alcoholic strength. Good. 04.VI.17

06.06.2017, tap @ Treffi Pub & Bistro, Helsinki:
Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, hay, moss, leafs, light malts, old lawn, minerals, sap, bark, hops, hints of metal tank. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, hay, moss, leafs, minerals, flowers, metal tank, paper, sap, light malts, harsh hops. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Kind of boring.

Bottle shared at Gekke Geit thanks to kermis! Light golden with a bit of haze and white head. Sweet malts, doughy, caramels, oniony. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. About medium body, gelly malty, average soft prickly carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Slight hazy darker golden with white head. Lots of sweet malts, corn, mineral water, cardboard, dust, grassy, some orange peel and light mango. Medium sweet and almost medium bitter. Medium bodied. Nice fruity notes but I don’t really like the malts here.

13th May 2017: Hamm Bierbörse. 33cl bottle at a stall/bar. Loads of sediment floating about in my glass, bottle obviously been turned before being given to me, or is that normal for this orangey, hoppy, piney beer to look like? Would have enjoyed it a lot more (and quicker) if I hadn’t had the ’floaters’ and waiting for them to settle a little before drinking.
