Collab with the wonderful Beak
This Early Pick DDH Hazy IPA highlights Motueka harvested in the very first days of the season. Loaded with Motueka from Freestyle Hops (Lot SV25-4AKE-MKA) and amplified with a dose of early pick Motueka hop kief this beer captures the vibrant, zesty intensity that defines the early harvest character.
Expect Motueka's signature zesty lime, mojito and light floral aromatics.

Last one of the festival so it was time to go big and then go home. Huge chewy hops and a real sweetness. Not my thing but I recognise how good this is.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, starts smooth but develops decent fine carbonation. Fluffy soft pale malts, a fluffy and fairly forward creamy sweetness, which suits this brew. Motueka, for me, a little sharper than usual, quite the prominent lemon lime vibe, very slightly tart. Soft pine. Juicy back end finds some slightly ripe lemon. Didn't get the key lime I've become used to over the last few years. Unlike some other hops, hello Mosaic, Motueka has grown stronger in recent years. Nice brew. Motueka really punching.

440ml can. Murky yellow with a big white head. Aroma of candied lemon and lime, mild peppery spice. Taste is sweet, candied lemon and lime, mandarin, mild spice. Medium bodied, soft.
Noticeably sweet compared to Late Pick so gets a slightly lower rating.

Can from The Craft Beer Cabin, Bromley. Aromas of satsuma, lime, grapefruit, dash of sweetcorn. Rich citrus flavours, some kiwifruit & mango. Lightly hoppy with an underlying sweetness. Like this lots.
