Sampled @ Festival der Bierkulturen Köln 2017. Fast klare orange braune Farbe. Geruch nach reifen roten Früchten, Karamell, Holz. Geschmack kräftig, rote Früchte, holzig, Trauben.

FdB 2017, Cologne. Sweetish woody beginning. Intense deep, sugary caramel, woody cherries and dark fruit. Nicer than the bottled version, but for me still too sticky, but the woodiness improves this.

Draft at Festival der Bierkulturen, Cologne. Hazy amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, tart light fruits, oak and vinous red wine barrel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Rund malziger, weich karbonisierter Antrunk. Mild bitter, spritzig fruchtig bei erkennbaren Holznoten. Weich bitter, langer runder Nachhall, kirschig. Gut. 10/10/9/10//10

Sampled from tap at FdB Köln 2017. Hazy, dark reddish brown with an off-white head. Sweetish, malty, woody and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, oak, red grapes and some chocolate. Sweetish, a little sourish, malty and a bit fruity taste of caramel, red grapes, lots of oak and a bit of chocolate, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, woody-dry and a bit boozy finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
