Illuminate is an American Wheatwine that pours a pale chestnut hue into the glass. A complex grain bill brings forth notes of caramel-drizzled pound cake, honey-soaked figs, and freshly baked blondies. Its richness is tempered by a subtle blend of Amarillo, Nugget, and Cascade hops; they offer aromas of citrus and pine. This balanced sipper’s flavor evolves as it warms in the glass and will age gracefully if stowed away in your cellar.

Bottle shared by Chalumeaux--thanks, TJ! Hazy, golden brown, ring of foamy head, mild viscosity, trace lacing. Aroma is faint butterscotch, Blondie, caramel. Taste is strong caramel, Blondie. Smooth, thick texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Not your average wheat beer--nicely different!

500 ml bottle. Thank you TJ! Number 1 with a bullet. Aroma is similar to a blonde brownie. Honey malts. Flavor has soft honey, mild grains, mild citrus. I wonder what this would’ve been like if it was held a little longer. Soft mouthfeel with a lightly sweet finish. Certainly is enjoyable.
