12 oz bottle poured, enjoyed at Hamiltons, San Diego. Clean and clear amber pour, beautiful. Dont get a whole lot of tequila barrel here, much to my surprise. I thought I'd pick it out from a mile away. Smooth up front, tons of pear. Tasty jumps out later, but especially smooth. Just an awesome brew here.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of pear skins, followed by intense tequila barrels. Flavour is heavy on the tequila barrels, way too much for me, followed by pear skins and subtle dry tartness. Tequila barrels really put me off, but I suppose they are used pretty well here. Cohesive and pleasant, I'm just not a fan of tequila.

Bottle from cocoapuph - thanks man! Pours cloudy orange amber with a small white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is very oaky, some funk, citrus (lemon), perhaps tequila I guess. Definitely a bit of a different take on a sour. Flavor is medium tart, light plus funky, drying, lemon zest, basement must, oak tannins, some nondescript fruitiness. Medium body, decent carbonation. Interesting.

Orange pour with a white head. Sour aroma with some tequila, lacto and watermelon. Same notes in taste with some oaky vanilla to it. Really thankful I got to try this one.

12oz bottle pours a hazy, burnt orange with some spitty, white head. Big pickle nose, pickled swiss chard, wood, fruit, but a lot of salt and herbs. Flavor is tart, boozy, heavy lime, cleaning fluid, candlewax. Just tartness to the face. Boozy finish too.

Comes together well. Finishes with medium to high sourness, a little mouth puckering. Golden pour with ok head and lacing. Citrus and plum, I guess prickly pear though I don’t have a good idea of what that tastes like. Bottle thanks to Iphonephan at Epic Sour Tasting.
