330 ml can, as Rygr Albion E.S.B. Britisk Bitter, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6%. Deep chestnut colour, small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, dark fruits and nuts. The flavour has the same elements, but is not too sweet, and has distinct and earthy bittering hops in the finish.

330ml can, #585. Deep amber body, low off-white head, shattered lacing. Mid-sweet caramel malts on the nose, joined by herbal hops. Fine mixed taste of caramel, biscuits, and leafy hops. On the sweet side of bittersweet to the ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing (Tromsø, 17.05.2026).

Can @ Home. Clear, amber golden body under a tan/pale beige head. Aroma is malty with bread and hint of dry fruits. Taste is similar to aroma, malt based with bread, some toffee, hint of dry fruit, moderate bitterness and hint of nuts. Medium body and average aftertaste with sweet malt. A bit one-dimensional but that’s the style. Decent within it’s style.

0,33 brukerdose fra apoteket i Verksgata, hjemme: nesten helt klar rødlig kastanjefarge med fint skum som varer så lenge jeg trenger det. Kjeks, urter, litt skogbunn og mye deilig maltsmak. Nice one indeed.
