Chubbles, but make it... 0.5%!?
This is our first ever AF TIPA and we’ve treated it with the same tender love and dedication as any other Chubbles release.
Keeping the same hop base as our original Chubbles recipe, we’ve utilised Enigma, Galaxy, El Dorado and Citra with an alcohol free base.
The outcome?
An exploration of subtle passionfruit, tart red currant and bright citrus flavours all wrapped up in a refreshing and hop forward low abv offering.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 22A adapted: alcohol free). Can 44 cl - Batch 2129 14:12 (BB: 17.09.26). AROMA: medium-high to high hop aroma (lupulin, green pine, slight passion fruit). APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and hazy. medium-low white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium hop flavor (fresh green, pine, lupulin, slight mint). very low malt background with hints of sweetness. medium-high bitterness hiding any wort notes. finishes semi-dry and slightly bitter. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice low alcoholic IPA with good hop presence.

440ml can. Murky pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of tropical mango and passionfruit, lemon. Taste is quite citrusy, lots of zesty lemon, tropical, mango, passionfruit, light citric hop bitterness. Medium bodied.
A solid AF IPA but I couldn't tell this was supposed to be Chubbles. It's lacking the hop intensity for a "TIPA", and especially lacking the big dank sweaty weedy hop notes Chubbles has.

Pours murky pale yellow gold with a fluffy white cap that quickly fades. Fresh citrus aroma, a little malt, a little lychee. Taste is quite fruity and fresh, little grain and malt on the end. OK. But wouldn't rush back.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is woody, pencil shavings, zippy lemon shurbet, fresh lemon, dry wheat,. Flavour is composed of dry thin grains, pine, lemongrass, corn, grainy, corn husks, spicy lemon citrus. Palate is thin, and grainy. Highish spicy carbonation. Meh. Disappointed.
