Bottle. Birthday gift from Hydes. Cheers Buckaroo. It’s 16-16 Murphy Wu. If Murphy wins I’m gonna smash the telly up and send the BBC the bill. I mean look at the length of the cunts shoes. And what is that hair? Wrong un that twat. The beer is ace. Salty twangy and plenty of richness while being effortless easy drinking.

A light haze on this deep amber brown beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Soft malts, a smooth light creamy sweetness, very light chocolate streak. As usual with this brew, the barrelling is complex. This edition, for me, is refreshingly bourbon light. Certainly some bourbon here but, as much slightly tangy red wine. Soft brandy-rum ripe fruits. Mild alcohol spice. Back end brings a little wet wood, mild oak induced vanilla. Finishes fairly tangy. Perhaps a touch tangy overall but a well layered and quaffable ba barleywine.

On tap. Pours a dark reddish brown with light foamy head. Aromas of toffee, dark fruit, soft fruity bourbon a bit of oak, and toasted malts. Flavors follow same a nice fruity bourbon emphasis. Excellent,
