Bottle. Black color, fluffy tan head with solid lacing, good retention. Aroma of bright pine on a roasty background. Taste is bitter chocolate and coffee covered pine and grapefruit. Works well.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2014 Late Night - Asheville. Pours dark brown with a foamy, tan head. Solid ICDA. Rich, dark bread, burnt pine, cocoa and brownies. Full bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Warming finish, more burnt pine, some earth, chocolate. Very tasty.

Etched glass bottle at RBWG. Pours black with brown head. Nose and taste of resin, pine, roast chocolate, orange candy and cocoa. Medium body.

RBSG 2013, from Bob. Grassy, citrus hops make this a dry beer. Black in color but not particularly well roasted, which is fine. Medium palate.

22oz bottle-thanks Skyview @RBSG-Minni-dissipating lt tan-mahogany. A-pine/resin, some sweet roast. T-sweet pine/resin hops, 2nd roast med/dk malt.
