Draft at Appalachian Vintner during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear amber with a white foam head. Toasty bread on the nose, some caramel, too. Medium sweet flavor with more bread, light ripe fruits, toffee, faint leafy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Good, moderately clean finish with nice toasty bread character, brown bread, dry caramel, mellow leaves. Pretty solid for the style.

On tap at Appalachian Vinter. Pours a clear amber brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a dark bread note with some musty grains. Flavor begins with dark bread notes that last throughout the beer with a bit of earthy grains.
