Thunder Ann is brewed to highlight beautiful citrusy American hops. She comes off almost tropical; people will find notes of apricot and mango in addition to the citrus bouquet. Honey and biscuit malts contribute to the body as well, making it a friendly, yet bold American Pale Ale.

Single from that tiny top rated bottle shop in Downtown Nashville.

Mojito glass @home. Frothy, sticky, hazy honey tea gold.
Honey & pith, a little marzipan & veg on the nose.
Bittersweet, leaning astringent. Lots of lingering pine & bitter lettuce, bit of salt, Aspirin finish. Heavy body but ample carb.

Good.

Can. Clear copper-orange in color with a medium sized head. Aroma was mild citrus and malty grains. Taste is very well balanced with a nice citus fruit finish.

From City Brew Tours canned August 30th 2023.

It pours a clear amber gold with more than a finger of foam, with spotty lacing.

The smell is grapefruit citrus, toasted malt, seems this is going to be on the bitter side.

The taste is bitter and kind of malty. Grapefruit citrus with toasted malt, little bit of some tropical fruit, but mostly bitter. I like that in an APA.

Good mouthfeel.

I reckon that if you want a quite bitter APA, this one will satisfy.

2 month old can A: Clear deep orange color with a thick frothy beige head. Fair retention and thick lace. S: A little woody, a little piney and just a bit sweet and grainy. T: Interesting and very bitter. Follows the nose with heavy wood, resin and pine. There is some bitter citrus too but behind the pine. A faint corny sweetness is all but lost. M: Prickly carbonation cuts nicely through a lightly resinous mouthfeel. O: I guess I consider this East Coast style even though it's not called an IPA. Pretty good but not sure I'd buy again.

12oz can c/o BenT. Filtered caramel-copper body. Smooth and malty, with some pleasant modern hops. Pleasant APA, classical with a modern twist. Distinguishable from an IPA, which I appreciate. Good. Clean mouthfeel. Great balance.
