pours a thin white head. Color is a yellow-gold. Aroma has a scent of lime. Flavor is good and nice carbonation level. Finishes a bit flat-metallic. Almost as good as Tsing Tao.

Golden colour. Slight spicy hop presence, decent balance, and very light mossy, earthy nuances towards the finish.

I have heard of this beer for many years, though really I did not expect much from it. In wish I could have tried this on in it’s prime - when legend has it that it was a better beer. +++Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with just a hint of a white head. There was a sour almost skunky aroma with a hint of hops. The flavor was sour, vaguely skunky, a hint of malt and a corn syrup quality. A skunky bitterness lingered on the finish. Wholly forgettable.

Tried this solely because I wanted to be like Hunter S Thompson. Surprisingly not that bad at all. A decent flavor, some hops to speak of and not skunky. Though it's not anything great, don't get me wrong. Very golden and sparkly, small white head, aroma of club soda and light hops.

GABF 2002: Falstaff Brewing? This was at the Pearl Brewing Co. table at GABF. Fruity and citric aroma. Light gold. Mild balanced flavor. Medium bitter finish. Light overall. Better than expected, but rather middle of the road.
