Despite the crudeness it is tricky to make an effective Molotov cocktail. Despite the unruly nature of the rebel it is very tricky to resist accepted conventions. Molotov Cocktail is a tour de force in rebellious hoppiness, it’s a spark for action and by far one of the most anti-authoritative beers ever made by Evil Twin Brewing.

650ml bottle. Pours clear dark orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of juicy fruits, caramel and toffee with loads of malts. Taste is sweet, malty and sticky with loads of toffee and caramel. Finish is crisp and malty with loads of toffee and caramel. Quite heavy and sweet with fruity hops and caramel.

Bomber from Belmont. A classic triple IPA. Pours a yeasty particulate filled orange color with a small white head. A big sweet citrus nose. Massive resin, marmalade, sugary sweet malts, sticky, watermelon, some papaya and other tropical fruits. Huge sweet beer. Very smooth, easy drinking despite the ABV. Nice.

Taster at Beer for Geeks. Molotov cocktail simcoe single hop edition 13% pours a deep gleaming orange copper. The nose is wine like with a dank edge. The taste is sweet honey & pine. Yummy biscuit character on a syrupy slick caramel body. It has a very bitter green finish.

fat. Doftar mycket lovande med fyllig fruktighet. Smakar ja jäävlar vad aprikos och sen apelsin. Mycket krämig å fyllig i munnen . Härrejävlar . Lååååång eftersmak som sätter sig . Nu kan jag känna lite torkade dadlar å en kärv sötma? Vad faan menas med det? Ja så smakar den åh lite Salt?? Va faan udda. Jävligt god å annorlunda öl. Brooklyn USA kan brygga öl.

Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly viscous, good fine carbonation. Sweet malts support resinous hops. Mild skunk and good hop spice. Orange liqueur in to a little marmalade. Light finish. Drinks pretty easy for it’s very big abv but from such a big DIPA it could show more hop complexity.

Muddy brownish-orange color with small head. Aroma of sweet hops and syrup, surprisingly thin. Taste is juicy sweet hops, sugar, syrupy, honey, boozy, damn this is sweet. Lacks balance, quite overdone. Low carbonation. I liked the regular Molotov cocktail better.
