On tap at Bar Hop.
Hazy golden pour, big white head.
Big yeasty, phenolic wheat aroma. Slight tartness, even a little lactic. Lively carb, thin mouthfeel. Tart finish with a very light funk. It’s a good attempt but i find it a little thin and lacking in the funk department.

(On tap @ Indie Alehouse, Jan 12 2016) Pours lightly hazy pale straw with no head. Aroma of lemon, raw wheat, pine-sol. Flavour is watery tart lemonade, a bit of wheat and some herbal soapy notes. Light body with fairly light carb. Not much to it. Very little complexity at all here, this is very much a Berliner that needs additions even if it’s not world-beating with them.

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color Berliner with a large white bubbly head with no retention or lacing. Aroma of funky and tart notes with weird lemony notes. Taste is also dominated by lemony notes with some tart and funky notes clearly identifiable. Body is light with strong carbonation that didn’t last long. I could not really stand the lemony flavours and this one ended up down the drain.

Single bottle from the LCBO, written 3.8% ABV. on it. Pours a light golden colour with heavy carbonation and a fizzy head that disappears very quickly, leaving nothing. Looks more like pop to me (light ginger ale). Very mild aromas of lemon and yeast. The taste is rather sour with the wheat being watery and the yeast adding some tart in the finish. Becomes cloudy at the last pour. Refreshing and easy to drink with the low alcohol. Good for the style. Not one of my favorite though.

Bottle from the LCBO. Slightly hazy pale gold with large white head that quickly fades. Nose is tart citrus with some ginger and light yeast. Tart and salty throughout with citrus and some yeast funk. Mouth is light with very active carbonation and a crisp dry finish. Refreshing.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. It pours a very pale lemony gold. Tart coozy funky aroma. Incredibly tart, acidic salty & wheaty. The beer makes me think of... Salty sweet goodness...

Bottle - Sweet, sour citrus and funky yeast. Hazy gold with no head. Lively carbonation, bright tartness, some grape and a yeasty finish. Carb may be a bit overdone, but a nice refreshing beer anyways.
