Bottle courtesy of Nisse666. Pours hazy dark brown with a small creamy and frothy mocha head that leaves some trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and malty with sweet dark bread, wood, maple syrup, vanilla fudge, alcohol, raisins, moist tobacco, lemon zest and hints of bread spices. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and malty with prunes, raisins, sweet dark bread, alcohol, lemon zest, moist tobacco, liquorice root, moist soil and hints of red wine. Mouthfeel is round, sticky sweet, tiny tart and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet, slightly bitter and tiny sour with prunes, raisins in rum, sweet dark bread, caramel, alcohol and lemon zest.

Big bottle thanks to Stu. Pours opaque black with a nice thin crema head. The nose has chocolate biscuits with cream and The taste has liquorice, tar, dark chocolate, cream. The palate has a rich full body, a big creamy middle section and unfortunately I feel this is far too cloying on the end. It’s imbalanced which is shame.

Dark brown beer, light just passes through. Softish palate, semi dry. Sublte toffee malt nose. A strange beer this - creamy malt, a dash of coffee, licorice, aniseed alcohol. A little marmalade hop bitterness. Finishes soft and dry. Nice components but disjointed. Nontheless end up a decent brew!

Bottle Pours a dark brown with a small beige head. The aroma is caramel and faint hop. Thin mouthfeel with roast and vanilla. Easy to drink a very good American strong ale from SN and Dogfish Head.

Bomber. Pours a deep dark brown with a large creamy beige head. Very nice lacing remains. Aroma is of roasted malt, dark fruits, and chocolate. Taste is chocolate malts, fruity maple sweetness, some hoppy bitterness, and a touch of alcohol. Full bodied, well carbonated, and somewhat alcoholic on the fish. Interesting.
