C’est avec un grand plaisir que nous avons brasser cette superbe bière avec nos amis français de la Brasserie Popihn ! Pour l’occasion, avons brassée une superbe Pale Ale mettant en vedette les houblons néo-zélandais pESHarine et Rakau complété d’une variante parcellaire de Eggers Special X. Cette Pale Ale bien saturée en houblon en met plein la vue avec des saveurs aussi intenses qu’exotiques, mais c’est surtout une bière qui souligne l’amitié entre nos deux brasseries.

A hazed milky yellow ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. On tap at De la Gappe location.

Hazy, golden colour with an off-white, bubbly head, decent lasting and leaving a few soapy lacing spots. Citrus aromas with a touch of sesame, white wine grapes from the Rakau and hints of peaches. A lighter mouthfeel than their IPAs, still juicy, with a nice, slow building dryness. A tad tart left on the tongue. Flavours are a blend of orange juice, some lemon zest, and a little white wine. Some zesty-bitterness does get stronger as it goes, with grapefruit peel. A good NEPA that is juicy, but gets dryer and dryer in the end.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy pale yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some tropical hops notes and a semi-sweet finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some tropical notes and a semi-sweet finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEPA with the nice drinkability.
