Named after two of our favourite cows at the Thornbridge smallholding, this is a classic Saison. It pours pale gold with a lively white head and a light haze. The aroma is bright with notes of cracked pepper, clove and spice with dashes of lemon. It’s dry and refreshing with a sparkling carbonation which lifts the body, leading to a snappy, crisp finish.

Can from. Raynville Superstore. It pours ever so slightly hazy pale gold with a decent white cap. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, zippy, zingy, lemon sherbet, pear, melon, banana, floral, fruit cobbler, floral accents and cracked black pepper. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, peppery, pithy, zesty, lemon sherbet, grapefruit, melon, touch of green banana, warming spice, peppery, lemon verbena, slightly flinty and crackery malt with a dry, snappy finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Very well done. Quaffable.

Tap at Haka, Helsinki. Color is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Pepper, Belgian yeast elements, floral elements... maybe too peppery?

Keg at Haka, Helsinki.
The beer poured clear and golden in color.
White peppery nose. Dry finish, spicy, but the peppery notes dominates. Really like sniffing the spice can. Overall good.

On keg at Greystones, Sheffield - Hazy pale yellow with a lasting white foam. Herby start, nice earthiness to the finish, clean citrus undertones. I've been a bit flat with Thornbridge Beer lately, but this is a refreshing - literally - reminder of what they are capable of.

Tight white head on an unclear pale golden coloured body.
Coriander, clove & earthy aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy dry & cloying.
Clove, coriander, grassy, earthy, yeast, lemon & black pepper tastes.
That's a good Saison.

Tap at Thornbridge. Misted slightly dirty gold. Slim lasting white foam. Nose is very yeast forward. Standard clove and banana esters. Dry and light bitter. Some dryness. Drinks decent with soft fizz. Fruity as it warms. Dry and bitter finish.
