Very well balanced. Only a hint of barrel in this - just enough to put an edge of oak here. Golden pour without much head or lacing. Some florals, with light bretta. Delightfully tangy finish with a little sweetness. Some apricot, a little apple. Bottle pour at Churchkey feature event.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma brings out lots of grape must, white wine and a little oak. Flavour is very dry, vinous and complex, with loads of white wine barrels, followed by grape must and the oak - a little funk too. Hugely vinous, which is what characterizes this, though without being monochromatic. A great one from Avery.

Bottle at Euclid in Denver. Pours a clear yellow gold with paperthin head. The aroma is a strong oak, funk, grape. Medium mouthfeel with nice boozy wine and white grape with nice sour finish. Very impressive.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you! Bright clear golden yellow color, large bubble white head. Aroma of a fine and floral sweet white wine. Taste is smooth white grapes, light citrus. Amazingly light and easy to drink, I never would have guessed that this one is 11%.

Bottle @ GABF 2013. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty sour aroma. Fruity malty sour tart flavor. Has a fruity sour tart finish.

Sampled at GABF 2013. Pours a clear gold with some white head. Herbal nose, lemon, malt, grass, funk, wood pulp. Flavor is malty, funk, lemongrass, woody. Funky finish. Odd.

Bottle thanks to Ratman! Pours with a clear yellow hued body with a large white head that slowly fizzles out. Very heavily oaky and fruity aromas. Massive lactones and vanillins, white wine grapes, Chardonnay, green grass, apple and cotton candy. Flavors are very vinous and grape like. Mild baked apple with cinnamon, lots of vanilla and oak. Not as funky as expected, nor very tart. Quite tannic and very winey. Sort of reminiscent of a les sour Oui Oui. Fizzy carbonation, pretty dry , medium Bodied and warming. A fun wine heavy sour.

Bottle thanks to the Dood! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount dry honey and sour white grapes and a bit of a musty oak backing Flavor starts with dry honey and sour white grapes and a bit of a oakiness and a slight bit of acid.
