Sample from 65 cl. bottle As "Bayou Teche Biere Joi Mello Dubble". Clear, dark amber colour with a thin, lightly tanned head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chillies, dark pepper, dark malts, caramel. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted with spices, pepper and chillies. Very enjoyable!

Bottle 65 cl. Comes as: "Bayou Teche Biere Joi Mello Dubble". Pours a clear and pretty, nutty brown with a beige head. Dry coffee, chili aroma with and underlying discreet roastiness. Medium body, subtle sweet dark, dried fruit and then the combined impact of coffee and roast comes rushing in. A very well made chili beer - if it has to be. 081114

Bottle sample at a wood-aged beers tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Brown with amber hues and a small beige head. Aroma of lots of coffee beans, roastiness, cocoa and some vegetal chili peppers. Bittersweet flavor, a bit roasty, with malt, a bit of dark fruits, lots of coffee, cocoa and a moderately hot chili finish. Medium-bodied. Quite nice.
