Bottle shared by TJ on 12/9/17.
Ruby-highlighted, dark mahogany body shows good clarity and a light tan head that recedes quickly to a ring.
Smells of meaty cherries. Lots of cherry pie with light chocolate, tobacco, plum, raisin, vanilla and light booze on the end. Not a very beer-oriented nose; rather thin and fruity.
In the mouth it's thin and fruity, with lots of cherry pie character. Astringent finish is not particularly bourbony, though maybe there is some spice buried in there. Thin, undermalted/overattenated texture and body. Low, rather peppery carbonation and a somewhat cheap, sweet, sticky finish. Not particularly good in any aspect.

22 oz. bottle, thanks T.J. Dark brown in color, tan head. Aroma is mild bourbon with cherry cough syrup. Dark fruit hints. Well, the flavor reflects the aroma. Ends kind of medical. Syrupy texture. Love me some cough syrup!!

Cask at Sugar Land Flying Saucer BeerFeast. Pours a cloudy brown with medium tan head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is chocolate roast and booze. Medium mouthfeel with a rich chocolate and light cherry flavor with nice smooth finish. Easy to drink hiding alcohol well, a very impressive one off of the Hellfighter.
