Juicy, exciting fruit flavours before an intense bitterness as sharp as a Macaw’s screech.

Hopped with: Summit and Amarillo.

Bottle shared some time past best before date. Slight hazy golden with white head. Lots of lychees, sweet malts, light grass and herbs. Medium sweet and light bitter. I guess some of the bitterness has gone. It’s still quite fruity though. Just medium bodied. Past it’s prime, but still not bad.

500ml bottle. Clear golden/light amber colour with a thin white head, good retention. Aroma: fruity, peach, gooseberry, caramel malt. Taste: tart citrus fruity, gooseberry, caramel, slight sweetness followed by a pronounced and lingering bitterness. Soft-medium carbonation, medium body, bitter aftertaste. Quite drinkable.

Handpump at Craft Beer Co - Covent Garden, London. Deep gold clear pour, off-white foam. Nose: English malt signature, a bit smoky kind of dusty room. Barley leftovers! Lovely! Mouth: Rich barley, easy drinking, oxidation (ripped cherries). Bitter aftertaste. England on forever! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled 500ml (Alko)
Clear golden-amber color, small steady white head and some lace. Like description says, there is "rubbery" peach in the nose. Light-bodied. Gooseberries, sweetish peachy fruityness but same time also kind of harsh overall. Hard mouthfeel. Ok but not as good as expected.
