An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Rating from March 2014...Straw color...off white head....pretty basic looking for a wheat.....a nice whiff of apricot and dried apricots.....sweet flavor up front, this almost seems like a fruit beer, then its wheat.....some zing mid-palate....its good --goes down easy, would be nice with some sunshine!

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, Buffalo, NY. Straw coloured with a ring of white head; apricot aroma; and apricot taste, and pleasantly dry with a floury body; and a tart clean finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Tom L. Slightly hazy blonde. Big apricot aroma. Sweetish flavor, wheaty, with light graininess, apricot and a slightly bitterish husky finish. Light-bodied, kinda watery.

Bottle. Apricot, butter, and wheat malt aroma. Medium yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet apricot, wheat malt and old butter flavor. Probably would have been really good without the diacetyl issue.

Hazy yellow-gold with a thick, off-white head. Aroma is strong apricot. Taste is wheat, but the apricot is waaay watered out. Tasty, but really thin and watery. A pity, because the aroma really amazed me.

Draft @ Yard House, Boston- Fenway. Served in pint. Clear golden/ amber color. Light Co2. Nose is all apricot. Wheat is overpowered by apricot sweetness but it is there. Light malt is also hiding under the fruit sweetness. Sticky, syrupy texture. You better like apricot to order this. I was done after one pint. Doubtful if I would order again. Just a simple fruit beer.

Sampled at brewery: Pours a hazy yellow with little head. Aroma is apricot and yeast. Taste is much the same. Fortunately this is not very sweet. The fruity taste is pretty powerful. The hop taste is non-existent, but I think that is the point. Nothing is offensive; everything is rather simple.
