Black colored, thick, medium creamy tan head, nice lacing and long lasting. Aroma is of roasted malt, some brown sugar, toffee, bit dark fruit, whisky and some oaky wood notes. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, roasted malt, toffee and caramel, some dark chocolate, bit brown sugar, medium roasty bitterness, whisky and oaky wood notes, alcohol and warming also noticeable. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Bit too boozy feel to it. (bottle, Craft Beer Rising ’17, London)
