Sample at the Ale Wine & Spirits beer tasting on 10/16/2013: Hazy ruby red color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, yeast and dark fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, berries, candi sugar and yeast. The finish is fruity up front with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
