This Imperial Stout was brewed with our friends from Hard Lines Roastery in Cardiff. Built on a rich, full-bodied stout base, we steeped 30kg of whole bean coffee to draw out a soft, layered extraction. The washed Ethiopian beans bring clarity and lift, amplifying the stout’s caramel richness with delicate notes of peach and tangerine. Deep, smooth, and quietly vibrant.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull and consumed at home in Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy, dark tan head. The aroma is roasty, coffee, liquorice. The flavour is over moderate sweet, moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, oily, spicy coffee, caramel, light citrus fruits, warm boozy liquorice bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Excellent.

440ml can. Pours black with a brown head that disappears instantly. Aroma of coffee, roast, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla. Taste is very syrupy sweet, coffee (which seems slightly fruity), roast malts, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, bitterness from the roast malts and coffee doesn't do much about the cloying sweetness. Very thick full body.
A delicious stout but incredibly sweet.

Black pour with a beige head. Huge caramel sweetness, chocolate cake, vanilla, roasted malts, coffee wisps. Full body. Nearly cloying sweetness in the finish with some dark red fruits. It’s very tasty but the sweetness gets a bit much pretty quickly.

44cl Blik bij HBBBYB&MBBQ '26. Dank Marco! Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Koffie met suiker, veel suiker, caramel, meer koffie, gebrande mout, vanille, zoete koffie in de finish. Medium tot volle body. Te zoet om een echt aangenaam bier te zijn.

On tap at Stormbird, Camberwell, London. A black coloured pour with a thinnish beige head on top. Rich, sweet, roasty, malty, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, coffee aroma & taste. Smooth tasting imperial stout. Good stuff as expected.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Nose is dark roast coffee, caramel cake, dark chocolate, raisin. Taste is a rich mix of the above, oodles of coffee coming through in the back end. Exceedingly tasty.
