Keg at GBBF 2016, Day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy head. Good roasted malt character, with notes of brown bread, char, scorched earth. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with strong charred malts, some bittersweet baking cocoa. Good stuff overall.

Keg at GBBF 2016. It pours near black with a medium tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred wood, cocoa, cream soda, treacle and fruit cake. The taste is bitter, charred wood, slightly burnt, dark chocolate, peppery spice, ash, alcohol boost, dried fruits and Vimto. The finish is dry and charred. Medium + body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouths - feel. A decent amount of flavour, but it comes across a bit too charred and ashy.

GBBF Day 1. Keg. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is light, dry and has decent carbonation. Some roast bitterness in the dark malts, some tang as well. Tangy dark fruit . Finishes dry and crisp with floral bitterness. Lacks any richness but it’s fine.
