The beer is a pale yellow color. Farily hazy. Huge white head. Puffs up quickly. The aroma is excellent. Sweet brett fruitiness. Pear, apricot, kiwi. Some light tangerine tang. Moderate peppery spice. No real off flavor. It’s mostly just delicate fruit action, a touch perfumey. Taste unfortunately doesn’t have quite the same pleasant flavor. Moderate bitterness. Quite dry. Light malt sweetness. Kinda washed out. Fizzy light feel with a touch of slickness. I’m interested to try the dry-hopped versions because it certainly seems like a nice base to display other flavors.

Draft - Funky and sweaty with a touch of citrus. Cloudy with a small white head. Light funk and some sweaty notes again. Nice but a bit bland.

A hazed golden ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy floral hops, light Brett, light fragrant cheese, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light curacao, light Brett, light mineral notes, a bit of funk, nice. On tap at brewery.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Levi’s place. Thanks Levi. Yellow-gold. Nice funky aroma, fruity. Mildly sweetish flavor, rather dry, mildly funky, fruity, with a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma has a moderate cracker malt character with some moderate tropical fruit and light citrus notes. A hint of cherry pie and even fainter barnyard funk. Pours a hazy, pale yellow straw with a small, white head that recedes to the edges and lingers. Medium low lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with some grainy, cracker malt notes. Moderate tropical fruit with some medium peppery phenolics. Some light citrus and herbal, menthol notes. Medium low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with a really interesting Brett character. Nice phenolics, herbal notes and fruit. The herbal character really pops as it warms. An interesting beer that really changes as the temperature does.
