375ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 22. Thanks Mike for this one. Pours very dark brown, tan head. Aroma of strong coffee and bourbon. Oily palate, confidently sweet (perhaps too sweet) with a modest coffee presence, good bourbon, some sweet dark chocolate and bubbling stewed dark fruits. Overall, feels very light bodied for almost 14% and just too sweet to be palatable.

Aus der Flasche im 2020-07 getrunken. Dieses Imperial Stout mit seiner feinen proigen beige-braunen Schaumkrone kommt sehr harmonisch und mit vollen Körper daher. Der hier verwendete Kaffee dominiert das Bier nicht sondern rundet es hervoragend ab. Dazu kommt eine feine Süsse, die die Bitterkeit der Röstaromen gut kontrolliert. Dieses sehr leckere IStout von To Øl läßt sich sehr entspannt genießen - Lecker!
