On tap at Brew, Rotorua. Still amber beer with a thin white head. Faint perfume and grain aroma. Nice lacing. Slight zing, light body. A little dry grainy bitterness then the Musk Sticks return. Just a little bit too sweet and aromatic for a Pils.

On tap at Brew Rotorua. Pours very pale. Funky grass is very prominent, peach, lemon, quite a sharp finish. Not the crispest, and that sweet peach becomes a little cloying, but overall not bad.

Pours amber with a small head.Nose shows floral hops, soft peach blossom and a little orange peel alongside grainy, bready malt. Pretty much a Czech pilsner with new world hops.Flavours pretty much mirror the aroma. Spicy, floral hops followed by light grainy malt and an assertive bitterness.

Draft at Brew Craft. Clear yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of peppery straw and biscuit. Taste is similar. Decent.

Floral nz hops -rambutan and melon as well. Slightly doughy pale malt accent. Light and dry. Malts are understated but show a bit in the finish. Hops are slightly fruity, slightly woody. Nice.

From a 500ml bottle on 27/4/2011. Pours a light golden, with little head. Has a very pleasant fresh floral, fruity aroma (particularly passionfruit). There’s lots of flavour with bready malt set off against some big citrus hop action. A crackingly good pils.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops and a lighter touch of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops.

Bottle. Clear orangish-gold with an inch of white head. Grapefruit and lemon zest aroma with hints of herbs. Creamy mouthfeel. Light sweet biscuit then plenty of zesty citrus. Some nectarine and lychees. Bitter end is brief and has some herbal notes. Another cracking Kiwi pils; rippling with new-fangled hops but still identifiably a pilsener.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear golden with a small, off-white head. Very fresh and flowery hop aroma. Medium body with a solid and lightly sweet malt base with a lovely floral hoppiness in the finish that also contains a solid bitterness. Another lovely NZ micro pilsener. 050208
