Can: Poured a slightly hazy dirty yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of strong ester with perfume elie notes and residual sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by strong ester with some perfume notes and overly present residual sugar notes. Body si full with good carbonation and some apparent alcohol notes. This one's a bit messy and lacks some attenuation.

An at home random grab. Dark golden. Nose is fruit eaters. Tastes of banana, herbal, vanilla, alcohol. Middle of road body little light.

22oz bottle pours a hazy, dark orange with one ring of white head. Nose has some orange, tropical fruit, pineapple candy, a little bubblegum. Flavor is very sweet, candy sugar, pineapple, orange, honey. Almost like a concentrated DC Brau Citizen. Big, sweet finish.

Bottle thanks to Travlr. Poured a clear yellow-orange color with a wispy white head. Aroma was some earthy notes, lemon peel, citrus, and wheat. Flavor was notes of lemon zest, alcohol, and some notes of sweet malts.

Bottle donated by me. Hazy golden yellow color, scant head. Aroma of subtle flowers. Taste is bitter cherries. OK.

22 oz. bottle from Downtown Discount Beverage, Dover ,Nh for $11.99. Nose is very phenolic ; with Yeast, clove and fruit. Flavor is rather sweet and fruity, with caramel malts, yeast, wheat and maybe pear. This sat in my cellar from about 10 months; not sure if that’s why I don’t detect ABV or if it’s just hidden that well. The mouthfeel is real soft with Carbonation being real low. Overall, I think this is very good; above average. It may not live up to some of the true Belgians. However, The brewer did a fine job with this style.

2024 9.5% Version. Pours hazy deep gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Hot caramel and yeast aromas. Thick with sweet honey and golden syrup upfront turning to banana before the warming, cloying lasting finish. This version is an improvement. 7/24/2011 8.9% Version. Pours clear deep gold into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Candi and banana aromas. Thick and sweet with candi, caramel, and candy corn upfront. Turning thin and peppery before the cloying yeast bomb finish. 6/3/6/3/12 = 3.0
