Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy brown to black color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute. It left some light lacing sticking finely to the glass.
The smell had a nice blend of sweet roasty nutty malts but also had a good makeup of the maple flavoring invading my nose.
The taste was sweet and roasty combining the maple, nuts and adds a light coffee to the background.
On the palate, this sits about a medium with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation is actually fairly easy going down.
Overall, good maple flavored Porter worthy of having again.

Bottle courtesy, once again, of me! Thanks. Clear deep amber brown color, large bubble head. Aroma of chocolate brownies and biscuit. Taste is cocoa, coffee grounds. Light body. OK.

Thanks to probably Travlr, thanks Gene! Poured a nice, amber color, wispy white head. Aroma was light malty notes, some sweet maple notes. Flavor was maple, malts. Nice use or maple here.

22 ounce bottle. Pours an amber brown color topped by a small bubbly beige head. Toasted caramel malt aroma with just a hint of sweet maple. More toasted caramel malt with brown sugar and maple in the flavor. Butterscotch, toasted nuts and golden raisins appear after another sip. Herbal hops in finish, but just barely. As porters go, this is just OK. A little on the sweet side.

Bottle shared with Chuck on the Vineyard. Pours clear, light brown-red with a small, beige foam head. Nose is mostly dark bread with hints of caramel. Medium sweet flavor with light roasted malts, slightly burnt bread, lightly sugary caramel, with slightly bitter, burnt leaves. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Very mild dry finish with plenty of dark toast and mild, burnt caramel. Maple character only comes through via a mild sugariness. Overall, the it’s just OK.

Sampled at the DC Local Tasting a 22oz bottle pours a watery, translucent mahogany brown with some cloudy white head. Nose is not great, under attenuated brown malt, maple, apple, cardboard. Flavor is sweet, malty, wet bread. Bland finish. BLECK.

Saw this today at the local for the first time, I figured what the heck its Friday. Pours a dark brown with robust red highlights when held to light, Bubbly off white head sticks around for a bit. Smells of toffee, sweet malt and lots of butter. Taste is grainy malty sweet, maybe a faint chocolate or maple if I strain. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Nothing objectionable here, but nothing spectacular either. Missing are any roasted flavors. I taste no maple either. One and done for me

22 oz bottle. Dark brown with a thin white head with spotty lacing. Aroma is of maple and vinegar. Aroma is sweeter as it warms. Taste is straight from the tree tap maple syrup. But the thing that is disconcerting is you can pick up the vinegar in the finish. I like the maple taste but it’s ruined by he finish. Who wants vinegar in there beer??? Not me. Shared with LiteWait; glad I didn’t have to drink it myself!!
