Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, dried fruits, raisins, and spicy yeast. Flavour is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Body is medium. Pretty average Dubbel, not bad but nothing special either.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Very dark brown coloured brew with an slight sweet bitter taste and nice hints of caramel. One of those beers in drunk years ago before rating on Ratebeer. (BRB for short)

Entre una cosa y otra hacia ya un tiempecito que no probaba una dubbel, no es que le tenga a ésta Ename muchas espectativas, pero con respecto al estilo la cojo con bastantes ganas, veamos. Color marrón cobrizo, totalmente turbia, corona de espuma de media conservación, blanco roto-beige muy clarito. Aroma a malta tostada, chocolate negro, café, pan negro, caramelo y un ligero toque de frutos rojos y negros. En boca mismos matices que en olfato, cuerpo medio, algo sedosa. Como dubbel algo normalita, pero para mi agradable.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours darkest ruby - brown with a thick, fluffy khaki head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, chocolate, loads of dried fruits and berry, crunchy cherry, raisin, sultana, dried fig, jammy, toasty grain and roasted malt. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, crunchy upfront, bright dark fruits and berry, cherry, cranberry, raisin, fig, splash of red wine, toasted fruit cake, toasty, roasted malt, chocolate, dull coffee and some dull alcohol presence. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nice fruity dubbel.

Brown smooth white head. Mild slightly malty slightly chocolate dark fruiry aroma. Very clean aroma. Flavor is alsp crisp and clean, belgian brune or dubbel at its finest. Super well balanced. Not too sweet.
