12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Chesapeake, VA opened 7/15/11. Pours a slightly hazy lemon yellow with a thin fizzy head that fades quickly. Aroma of citrus, spice and pale wheat notes. The taste is big spicy notes, citrus, slightly toasted malts. Medium bodied.

Aroma: The nose is grains, wheat, lemon, dust, and a touch of spice
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear yellow color with almost no head or lace
Flavor: The taste is light-mid sweet with a minimal amount of bitterness
Palate: The body is somewhat thin, with a fairly fizzy carbonation and medium length duration
Overall Impression: Overall, this is an average-to-mediocre example of the Belgian White style. It certainly won't impress you, even if you are more of a fan of this style then I am. It isn't close to a must try.

Pours hazy pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head recedes to coat surface. Sweet glazed donut aromas. Sweet wheat upfront turning to mild ginger in the lasting bready finish.

Bottle. Cloudy banana yellow-brown body, thin off-white head. Tangy nose with coriander and orange peel. Coriander-dominated body with tangy wheat; the spice notes are cloying.

Strongly vegetal nose, with coriander and salami notes. MIlky yellow, thin head. Coriander and black pepper flavor, still with a very meaty component. Not a great wit, but probably a good beer to have with a deli sub. Weird, but enjoyable.

On Tap at Portsmouth, NH location. Hazy gold. Nose is mostly coriander and citrus. Good carbonation with light head and lace. Served in a pint. I don’ t smell or taste ginger, and for me that’s good. Taste is the smell. Light body and a freshing summer brew. I think this is different from the last Wit they brewed.

on tap-pours a white ring for a head and cloudy straw color. Aroma is faint wheat/grain, some lemon? Taste is wheat/grain, some lemon. Fizzy.

12 oz bottle into tumbler. Bought at a local supermarket. Pours a super cloudy pale yellow with a small white collapsing head; leaves a thin blanket of foam and some lace. Aroma is spicy, grainy. I seem to smell cinnamon and Belgian yeast, although it’s all pretty faint. Taste is mostly sweet with a hint of tartness and no bitterness. The ginger is noticeable in flavor; also has a hint of clove. Carbonation is pretty high, body is medium, mouthfeel is creamy. This is perfect for summer. As a side note, I love the new Redhook bottles. Stylish and stubby!
