Location: Bottle shared at Max and Andy's Tasting, 2/28/15

Aroma: Has a light vegetal nose, malty hints, not much else
Appearance: Hazy amber color with an average sized off-white head
Flavor: Fairly light flavor, okay, thin, and a little dull
Palate: The body is light-medium, average carbonation, okay overall feel
Overall Impression: There's not a ton going on here, kind of a dull beer, what is going on is kind of vegetal, and not in a not great way. Eh...

16oz pint at this Biergarten places in Charleston. Pours a lightly hazy orange with some white head. That’s about where things go wrong... nose is rough, harsh hop, soggy malts, yeast, celery, ranch dressing. Flavor follows, lots of celery, white pepper and coriander, soggy moldy bread. Harsh finish. This one beer nearly ruined my night.

Tap at COAST. It pours clear light brown with no head. The nose is earth, wood, dried fruit, leaf, rye bread and barnyard. The taste is earth, toast, brown bread, leaf, wood, leather and spice with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok, but nothing special.

Bottle. Murky reddish brown color, small tan head. Aroma of sweet and lightly toasted caramel. Taste is caramel biscuit, slightly burned toffee. Decent.

Sweet, hoppy, with a fruit-laced malt center that grabs your tastebuds and makes sweet, sweet love to them. Finishes bitter and easy, begging you to take another sip. Awesome. (9/08)
