On draught at Kroger. The beer is a hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, melon, citrus and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a thin head and aromas that are a little bit spice, a little bit melon and a touch of resin. Flavor is just OK, but nothing to get excited about... Kind of a spicy interpretation of the style without a lot of the pleasant fruits (citrus and tropical) or pine tree that I love. It’s OK... but kind of a ham fisted approach to the style.

On tap at Spacebar, pours a clear gold with some sticky, white head. Old school nose, pine, soap, sticky hop resin, dank, a little armpit. Flavor has just a little candy/malt, but then old school with pine, soap, onion scape. Finishes bitter and oily. Don ’t know, but it just didn’t come together for me.

Funky aftertaste, which mellows out as you drink it. Not great, but good.

Bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours clear golden with only a tiny white head. Aroma of pine, stink bug, minor citrus. Flavor is pine, citrus juice including perhaps some grapefruit and orange. Medium clear citrusy finish, and not thick and sappy like some imperial IPAs.
