Yellow/amber pour. Aromas of malts, hops and grains as expected, tastes is simlar with some hay, grass, lemon; crisp, decent bitter aftertaste, well done

Golden with a white head. For an India Pale Lager, it’s pretty bland in hop profile. It’s clean and easy going but if it had that bitterness of an IPL it would have been much more enjoyable. (Can)

Tap at new CBM. Aroma Very hoppy, grassy, biscuity malt. Taste little less exciting but still nice. Bit of citrus, decent bitterness. Soft in the mouth. Excitement fades.

Tap at the brewery. Clean malt-forward, grainy nose. Nice malt on the palate with slight graininess on the palate. Grassy with a touch of butter, but nothing overwhelming. Medium bitter finish. Yokohama lager, my first beer of the day at the GJBF 2016. It pours a deep gold with a bready aroma complemented by herbal noble hops. Dry finish, bright hops, green, herbal and bready. This is a crisp clean lager that tastes very fresh.

Golden copper color. Malty minerally nose with a bit of bread. I would say this is more of a Vienna. Malty, minerally mouth with some bready notes in the background. Fairly full body for the ABV. Decent for what it is. I rated a couple month ago it wouldn’t rock my world but this version tonight at SH Meats is super clean and well put together. Great stuff.

Tap at the brewery. Deep golden colour with a white head. Some lacing. Sweet malt aroma. Rather bland malty flavour.

Draft at the source as Pale Lager, hopefully it’s the same beer. Hazy golden color, white edge head. Aroma of subtle white pepper. Taste is similar.

Draught at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011. A bit dark gold, nice hoppy aroma. Really well balanced, very malt and very hoppy, a bit tangy Well-done. Very good, nice sweet, honey, biscuit thing going on the in the back behind the grassy hops.
