Crisp slightly hazy golden coloured body with a nice sized slightly off-white head. Aroma of fresh lemons, yeast, fresh malt and a slight dose of hops. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent malt flavour with some shallow sugars and a small set of german hops, coupled with a tiny metallic twang. Aftertaste shows mostly malt with a good citrus finish. Overall, a good fresh beer that settles well in the mouth and in the stomach, especially in the summer! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased on 12-July-2008 at Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York, sampled on 12-August-2008.

A big thanks to puzzl for getting me this pilsner. 12 oz can as pictured. Looks like any other pale yellow american lager but has a big creamy head, even when poured gently. Not much aroma, just clean wet hay and lacks any of the bad odor attributes of many lagers or pilsners. Good amount of carbonation but could use a tad more. Taste is grassy and haylike, very friendly and palatable. Much better and less bitter than most pilsners I’m familiar with. Easy to get along with and perhaps would make a decent session brew, even tho the %alky is not listed here. Finish does have a mild bitter linger to it but it’s not quite as bitter or lingering as most pilsners, and I’m glad of it. Comes across almost wheat beerish in nature.

12 oz can from alldaydrinker! Thanks! nose of grassy grainwith light backgound hops; lightly hazy gold with a big white head; flavor of citrus and light hop bitterness along with some graininess. Would be a great session beer if i lived in CT and could but it!

Strong hay aroma. Pour is golden with a thick white head. Tastes of honey and hops, more of the latter. Grass finish.

Pours bright yellow from the can into a shaker. Bright white micro head with good retention and lacing. Barely noticeable grass aromas. Upfront malt with an abrupt, dry, bitter metallic finish. Unfortunate that it tastes like metal -- the uninformed might blame it on the can.

2005 bottle. Oh boy, here we go again. I thought my swill tasting was behind me, but alas. . .Corn and vanilla in the nose, lager yeast. Crappy yellow-orange clear appearance, poor head no retention. The flavor dosent come off that poorly though, light malting, bits of cereal, honey, yeast. I’m not sold on this one. Where are the hops? They certainly weren’t too liberal with those. Medium body, not watery at least. No offense to anyone, but why is this not a pale lager? I better try another can, which I will do shortly.
