(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 3 Nov 2014) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, oak wood, cognac and marzipan. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins, brown sugar and a touch of cognac. Full body, with a certain sweetness, mild spicy bitterness. Tasty and well made, on the sweet side. Nice one.

Hazy dark amber with lasting dark beige head. Some Belgian yeast with cognac brandy flavour with oranges and sweet vanilla. Just a bit too sweet for me.

Tap @ Beer Temple (a slightly bigger sample). Cloudy reddish color. Aroma’s: sweet, sweet/soft fruit, with some cognac and barrel retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet with notes of wood. Strong alcohol feel, warming. Rather full bodied. Finish is slightly dry, light bitter. I liked it.
