On tap at the brewpub. Clear, very pale straw yellow with a creamy, white head. Grassy, slightly fruity aroma of hay, citrus and grains. Slightly bitter, grassy and slightly fruity taste of hay, some citrus and grains, followed by a short, rather bitter, grassy and quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent, rather dry and crisp Pilsener.

Tasting glass draft @ Van Moll Brewpub. Marketed as “De eigen pilsener van Van Moll” / Van Moll’s Pilsner whilst it is their own beer not brewed on premise apparently. Very hazy orange, creamy white. Nose is weird wet paper, cereal, sugar, hay, musty. Taste is heavy creamy yeast, wet paper, sugar, tastes like they took the base of a slightly dull hoppy blond beer from their line up & cut-out anything remotely interesting, getting some cereal, huger, overly dull & yeasty. Thick cereal & yeast body. Meh.
