Cask at the Jerusalem Tavern, London on 2nd July 2014. Copper with thin off-white ring-and-film leaving scant lacing. Floral hop scents and biscuit malt aromas. Delicate floral hoppiness, cookies and fine grass in-mouth where the hops come to the fore. Light smooth velvety mouthfeel and fair body. Enjoyable ale.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had the English pale malts up front with that typical sweet soapiness and still letting in a some grainy cereal notes.
The taste was mainly sweet through the cereal notes and malts but a biscuity breadiness ended up surrounding the flavors.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me as it left a certain smoothness that I normally get when I drink English pale ales.
Overall, not a bad English pale ale. I suppose it would make a great meal with fish n’ chips.

Clear golden. Subdued aroma with some sweetness and British hops. Slightly metallic and waterish. Bitterness in aftertaste. Drinkable, but there are better choices.

Bought from a local supermarket in a 500ml bottle. A slightly disappointing beer from usually good St Peter’s brewery. This beer left a strange coffee aftertaste.

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was grassy, herbal notes, with some earthy hops. Light malts, sweet fruit notes, plenty of earthy and herbal notes in this one. Pretty easy to drink.
