Rating from 7-30-2010....Its a campground rating by lantern light...wow haven’t rated a beer in ages!...well months...quite cloudy peachy orange in color.....sweet floral aroma filled with coriander....creamy mouth feel with lemon and orange bursts-sweet--it has a cereal grain backbone...slight bitter in the finish....very good and the alcohol is well hidden ....good amount of sediment as well

Bottle. Hazy, almost pulpy light orange-brown body, medium to thick puffy off-white head. Nose of banana, coriander, orange peel, and wheat, grassy and clean, with a hint of diacetyl. Body with potent coriander and orange peel, spicy and fairly dry, creamy. Very good wit.

22 oz bottle, 2009 vintage from Bert’s Better Beers. Use a weizen glass. This beer poured a very cloudy yellow-orange with a huge yellow-white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma was very strong and distinct coriander, sweet orange and lemon. The best coriander note I have ever found in a wit. Also, nice floating sediment and spices floating around in the glass. The flavor was strong orange and coriander with undertones of lemon, pepper and yeastiness. Medium length finish. Fairly full bodied. Excellent. I can’t believe this come out in the winter, It would be fantastic on a warm summer night.

Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. It pours hazy gold with bubbly full off white head. The aroma has modest spices, sweet orange candy covered in brown sugar and then a mix of perfumy floral hops and an herbal note. The taste is similar with sweet orange hard candy, herbal notes, flowery perfume, mild malt sweetness and moments here and there of grains. Its fruity sweet, a bit too bright and disjointed.

At a tasting, thanks Shachar, small head, hazy deep gold colour, aroma mint, orange, coriander, cough drops and a hint of retsina, flavour of lemon, tea, orange confiture and fruit drops. Strong alcoholic presence slightly unbalancing the brew.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks David Cohen. Slightly hazy golden. Floral spicy aroma, a bit soapy, with oranges, mint, coriander, ginger and wheat. Minty flavor with yeast, grains, citrus (lemon and orange), spices and alcohol. Medium-bodied. Reminds me of Christmas and Halloween beers. Not my thing.

22oz bottle pours a hazy, but mostly translucent orange gold with a little, cloudy white head. Aroma is all spices, coriander, sage, sugary, perfume, flowers, a little paint thinner. The flavor is overly sugary, flowers, sage leaves, lavender, perfume, oranges. Finish is thick, a little too sweet. A big miss.

a really nice white ale, the only knock is the color is very clear, not hazy like most white ales. great citrus and coriandor zest and some spice, not like allagash, but its there. great finish, went down very easy and begged for another sip, would love to do it again.
