Bottle. Dark color, tan head. Aroma was a sweet smoky smell. Taste is also a sweet, tasty smoky flavor.

0.5 l bottle. Dark brown color, no head. Overwhelming smoked bacon aroma, a bit weaker smoked taste. Just as a smoked should be. Nice brew.

i’m sitting at my computer, and someone is burning wood outside in their wood stove, and it smells EXACTLY like this beer tastes. its like drinking a campfire/wood stove. very interesting beer, not for everyone, but you have to have it atleast once.

Aroma of sweetish malts, lots of smoked ham, caramel. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Like most of the others from this brewery, a very good Smoked beer. *** From cask at the source. Richer and more smooth, very tasty.

Весьма уникальное пиво от Компании Brauerei Heller. При глотке ощущаешь вспышку копченого вкуса. Как будто скушал целую копченую рыбу одним заглотом. Весьма специфично и на любителя.

500mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is packed full of peaty, woody smoke. Flavour is less smoky than the aroma, though there's still plenty of smokiness; a nice bready malt base. Tastes and smells like a campfire. This is excellent.

aahhh, what a glorious beer. Dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of smoke. The taste is also of smoke and conjures up memories of well smoked kielbasa. Palate is full and crisp with soft carbonation. This beer, in my eyes, is the standard of the rauchbier style against which all others are judged. I like the Urbock amd Eiche a bit better.
