The malt bill gives a subtle nutty & toasty flavors and the chocolate malt provides a rich cocoa flavor with aromas that range from roasted coffee to chocolate-covered dark fruits. The hops used provides excellent bitterness in relation to the chocolate notes of the malt. The flavor and aroma provide clean floral, fruity and herbal notes. A light dose of hops brings balance to all.

Refrigerated bottle from cavie poured into a glass. Pours beautiful hazy light brown (some small floaters) with lighter highlights and small off-white head that dissapates quickly. Virtually no lacing, low carbonation, medium body, and the texture is a little oily. Taste is roasted malt, nutty, and a hint of spicy hops in the finish. Pretty good, past the enjoy by date.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, dark brown with a medium tan head. Smells roasted and nutty, with a hint of earth and some pine. Tastes bitter, but well balanced with some sweetness. Little to no carbonation, and a medium body that leaves a sticky feeling in your mouth. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter and fades quickly. A tasty, easy-drinking beer that is interesting, but unoffensive.

Ends with a touch of chocolate, caramel some sugar? Veryd ecent brown, got better as the beer warmed up and the roast/toast malts really started to come through.

12oz bottle sampled at home pours a translucent, medium brown with a creamy slightly off white head. Aroma is very mild, some sweet malts, some crackers, a little metal, a little nuttiness. The flavor is very sweet, malty, caramel, a little light milk chocolate, a little bit of nuts. Finish is sweet but a little too watery. I would imagine they made this so that a wide cross section of people would like this. In that way itβs likable, but itβs far from unique.

Pour is a hazy tan with a large white head. Aroma is ok with some sugar and roasted nuts. Flavor is a little watery with a touch of molasses at the end as this goes down. I get no real pronounced hops as the bottle told me i should. Its a brown ale..

on draft, pours dark brown with a medium frothy tan head. Aroma is carmel and brown sugar. Solid carmel malt and biscuit flavors mix with a sweet brown sugar and a nice bitter malt finish. Very nice brown ale.
