On tap at Beer House, pours a clear pale yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw and light grains. Flavour is clean and rather lifeless, with straw and a touch of graininess. A little vegetal character. Typical macro lager.

Keg at Beer House, Chişinau. Clear golden, small head. Grassy and bready nose. Dry with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Grassy and bready. Mid bitter finish. Refreshing.

In der Hauptstadt Moldawiens gibt es eine Hausbrauerei nach amerikanischen Vorbild, das gehobene, qualitativ hochwertige Bier produziert: Das BeerHouse, kurz BH. Für, für den Normalbürger unbezahlbaren 2 €, für 0,5 l bekommt man ein gutes helles Bier, das weit über dem moldawischen Durschnitt ist und auch erprobten Hausbrauerei-Freunden schmeckt. Sollte man einmal nach Chișinău kommen, sollte man hier vorbeikommen (es gibt auch sonst kaum Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt). Das filtrierte Helles ist ein typisches, volmundiges Lagerbier mit feinen Aromen. Da das Bier nicht pasteurisiert wird, kommen auch alle diese Aromen voll zur Geltung.

500ml on tap at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is bread, grain, and malt. Taste is slightly sweet, more bread, hint of grass.

Light barley here, and for a pale lager this actually has some taste like Ll Cool J. Golden pour with decent head. Clean and crisp finish. Tap at brewpub.

Aroma: malt, grain mostly.
Taste: malt and grain with some harsh (alcohol-like) background.

Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, smsll white head, solid lacing. Aroma of straw and white pepper. Taste is peppery hay. Decent body for a lager.

Blonde, lively, with a big head. The aroma is maltier and less doughy than the unfiltered. A little doughy still on the palate, and some pooey off-notes emerge, but it is drier than the unfiltered as well, which I prefer.
